Our client, a leader in the food manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Technician I - 1st Shift to join their team. As a Quality Technician I, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Technician I - 1st Shift
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Pay:18.50/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform quality checks on production lines in a timely and accurate manner every hour per line.
- Bring discrepancies with the Quality Monitoring Scheme to the attention of the Supervisor or Quality Manager.
- Ensure that products meet all legal and customer requirements as outlined in the Bluebook for each product.
- Complete paperwork accurately and on time each day.
- Maintain a clean work environment and follow all safety processes and procedures.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required; post-high school education preferred.
- Minimum of 3 months experience as a Quality Assurance Technician.
- Good attention to detail and ability to spot defects on fast-moving production lines.
- Basic understanding of machinery operations related to product quality.
- Experience with MS Office Suite is needed.
